On Thursday, September 4, visit YBCA at 701 Mission Street for free gallery admission from 5-9 pm, and musical performances by A V Linton and Tony Molina, as part of “Bay Area Then."
A V Linton is an unforgettable songwriter, working with The Aislers Set, Go Sailor, and Henry’s Dress. Musically, they’ve taken hints from the DIY earworms of the C86 movement, the textured richness of girl groups, and the clear-voiced harmonies of early rock music. Described as "a happy medium between intimacy and urgency,” Tony Molina’s songs jump in, punch a hole through your heart, and jump right back out.
Music begins at 7:30pm. This program is supported by Yerba Buena Partnership, Mayor Daniel Lurie, San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development.
